The Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness (SREE) brings together members of various research communities who study cause-and-effect relations important for education. Becoming a SREE member provides individuals with a forum to engage with a community of fellow researchers, practitioners, policymakers and students in discussions about the application of scientific research methods to education issues.

Membership Categories:

Member

Membership encompasses, but is not limited to, the following three categories:

• Active researchers in the field of education and related disciplines whose work contributes to the field of education or to fields of study and problems closely related to education.
  

• Educational professionals such as teachers and school administrators, and individuals interested in the application of scientific methods to education research and their connection to education practices.
  

• SREE invites participation from both for-profit and non-profit organizations concerned with education research.

Student Member

To qualify for student membership, an individual must be enrolled as a full-time student pursuing an advanced degree (Master's or Doctorate) at an accredited degree-granting institution.

Institutional Members

Educational institutions, government agencies, non-profit organizations and for-profit organizations are encouraged to join SREE and designate an individual to represent their interests in the Society. Organizations joining SREE in 2010 will constitute the first class of institutional members, and be designated “founding members”. In 2010, the SREE Board of Directors will expand by three seats, to be occupied by the representatives of institutional members.
