Description: The Meta-Analysis Training Institute is a one-week intensive workshop aimed at researchers interested in conducting IES Goal 1 meta-analyses of important educational research topics taking place from July 28 to August 3, 2019. The institute's aim is to train researchers in state-of-the-art advanced meta-analytic methods that are less commonly taught in introductory meta-analysis courses and workshops. Students will learn to craft persuasive Goal 1 research proposals in addition to advancing their Meta-Analysis skills. The Meta-Analysis Training Institute is hosted by Loyola University Chicago and funded by IES. Faculty are Dr. Terri Pigott, Loyola University Chicago; Dr. Natasha Beretvas, University of Texas at Austin; Dr. Joshua R. Polanin, American Institutes for Research; Dr. Elizabeth Tipton, Northwestern University; and Dr. Ryan Williams, American Institutes for Research. The institute is open to US citizens and permanent residents.
