Announcing the SREE Early Career Award

The SREE Board is pleased to announce the Society is offering a new award—the SREE Early Career Award. This award recognizes an early career scholar whose work has advanced rigorous research relevant to educational practice. Nominations for the inaugural award will be accepted from September 1-November 1, 2018; the honoree will be recognized at the SREE Spring 2019 Conference. Tensions and Tradeoffs: Responding to Diverse Demands for Evidence

SREE Spring 2019 Conference, March 6-9, Washington, D.C.

Get your abstracts ready and mark your calendars! The SREE Spring 2019 Conference will take place March 6-9, 2019, in Washington, DC. The conference offers an unmatched opportunity for you to present your research to the causal education research community, get valuable feedback, make connections, and learn about the latest research in the field. Submissions related to the theme, Tensions and Tradeoffs: Responding to Diverse Demands for Evidence, are encouraged but not required. The deadline to submit an abstract is October 1, 2018.



The program committee for the Spring 2019 conference includes Joy Lesnick (Co-Chair), School District of Philadelphia; Beth Tipton (Co-Chair), Northwestern University; Brooks Bowden, North Carolina State University, Alex Eble, Teachers College-Columbia University; Mimi Engel, University of Colorado; Jessica Heppen; American Institutes for Research, Nathan Jones, Boston University; Luke Miratrix, Harvard University; Mike Weiss, MDRC; and David S. Yeager, University of Texas at Austin.
