REES 101:  A Guided Tour of Study Registration

Wednesday, October 30, 2019
Noon-1 PM eastern

Join this webinar to learn the ins and outs of properly registering your research in the Registry of Efficacy and Effectiveness Studies

Across the social sciences, we have seen calls for increased transparency, accountability, and information sharing. One strategy for achieving this goal is having a registry of studies and pre-analysis plans and a culture that supports registration. With support from the Institute of Education Sciences, the Society for Research on Educational Effectiveness and the Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research at the University of Michigan developed a new registry for impact studies in education, The Registry of Efficacy and Effectiveness Studies (REES). In this webinar, we will introduce REES and provide a demonstration of how to enter a study and how to search the REES database for registered studies. Participants will have the opportunity to post questions in advance, with some time for Q+A at the end of the webinar.

There is no cost to participate.
